DESCRIPTIONNormal Lead Stearate (NLS) is produced and supplied as a fine white powder, with a slightly greasy texture and a lead (Pb) content of 27%. The product is packed in either 25kg multi-ply paper sacks or in 500kg bulk bags.TYPICAL APPLICATIONSNLS is used almost exclusively in the PVC industry. Whilst possessing some heat stabilising properties, it is used primarily as a lubricant in PVC compounding.
