DESCRIPTIONLead Dioxide is a very fine, dark brown to black powder with a high specific surface area. It is a powerful oxidising agent and must be handled with care. The product is packed in 25kg steel drums.TYPICAL APPLICATIONSLead Dioxide is used principally in pyrotechnic applications, where it acts as a source of oxygen. It may also be used as a catalyst in the curing of polysulphide elastomers.
