DESCRIPTION
Lead Dioxide is a very fine, dark brown to black powder with a high specific surface area. It is a powerful oxidising agent and must be handled with care. The product is packed in 25kg steel drums.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
Lead Dioxide is used principally in pyrotechnic applications, where it acts as a source of oxygen. It may also be used as a catalyst in the curing of polysulphide elastomers.
