DESCRIPTIONBasic Lead Carbonate (BLC) is produced and supplied as a fine white powder, with a lead (Pb) content of 80%. The product is packed in either 25kg multi-ply paper sacks or in 1000kg bulk bags.TYPICAL APPLICATIONSBLC is a collector of the platinum (Pt) group metals and may be used for the assaying of precious metal ores. It can also be used as a PVC stabiliser where the processing temperature does not exceed 180° as above this the compound will decompose with the evolution of carbon dioxide.
