To require Managers to take the lead in initiating safety programmes and, by their active and continued support, develop an awareness at all levels of the organisation by means of training and development in safety, health and hygiene matters.

To cooperate fully with outside professional organisations in pursuit of appropriate goals in these important fields with the objective of attaining the highest practical level of safety in all of the operations and to aim for a minimum 3-star N.O.S.A. rating in respect of each operation.
